Avowed appears to fit into the third category—at least for now. Despite Microsoft’s evolving stance on exclusivity, neither Starfield nor Avowed have been announced for PlayStation. If Avowed does make the jump, it likely won’t be anytime soon. This logic suggests that The Elder Scrolls VI, a massive franchise with an established multi-platform history, could land on PlayStation, whereas Avowed and Starfield—despite Avowed’s ties to the Pillars of Eternity universe—are less likely to follow suit in the near future.
While an eventual PlayStation release for Avowed isn’t impossible, based on Starfield’s trajectory, it seems highly unlikely to happen anytime soon.
