Different methods for fixing the installation issues for the Linksys E7000 extender are presented below. Consider all of them one after the other.

Get New Software

To access the latest file of the software, you must open the Linksys web management page. Once on that page, click on the Network Advanced option and tap Software upgrade option. Now install it on your WiFi gadget. Finally, restart the Linksys extender device to complete this method. 

Reset Linksys Extender: 

You can find a reset button at the left side or bottom of the WPS button. Push that button by inserting the hair clip inside the hole. This would turn off all the LEDs on the Linksys extender. That means that the device is reset completely by the off status of the LEDs. 

Note: After resetting, you need to perform the Linksys RE7000 setup process for the extender again.
