The creation of this park on the marshy area of the Neva was facilitated by the decree of Peter the Great. By the order of the tsar, this territory was improved – green spaces, lanterns and sculptural compositions appeared in it. The Summer Garden estates are arranged in the French style – all green spaces are regularly trimmed, and the alleys are located in a symmetrical order in relation to each other. In this park you can see a collection of sculptures that Peter the Great brought back from his trip to Italy.

The park's borders are decorated with flowerpots, there are several fountains and a pond with benches on the embankment. The park has a summer palace, a place suitable for a secluded vacation for couples and gatherings with friends.

It is impossible to imagine St. Petersburg parks for walks without the Alexander Garden, under the crown of centuries-old trees there is a vast recreation area for city residents. The area of the park is 9 hectares, colossal funds were spent on the landscaping project of this area. More than 300 trees and 2000 bushes were planted, forged benches for rest were installed.

The green area is harmoniously complemented by busts in honor of cultural, artistic and political figures. Symmetrical paths in the forest park go around alleys with tall trees. In the summer heat, you can relax in the shade of greenery or go straight to the fountain.
