Haryana contributes 1.43% to the country’s total potato production, thanks to good weather and irrigation facilities. The main potato-growing districts are Hisar, Fatehabad, Sirsa, and Karnal.

 

Gujarat: The state’s good irrigation system and fertile alluvial soil make it easy to grow many potatoes. This helped the state produce 3,780 thousand tonnes, which is over 7% of the country’s total potato production.
