How I chose a septic tank

When choosing a septic tank, I already knew that the soil in our village was clayey. I did not risk installing a septic tank-sedimentation tank,

although my neighbors have one that works well. We also abandoned the idea of a septic tank-storage tank: we planned to use the septic tank all year round and calculated its productivity with a reserve for the future. We would have to call a sewage truck once or twice a month and put up with the smells.

In the end, we settled on a deep cleaning system: the septic tank can be placed near the house, and the purified, odorless water can be discharged into a storm drain along the road. We decided to order the installation and the septic tank itself from the same company that drilled and connected the well. This way, we wanted to immediately resolve the issue of all communications and get a guarantee from one company for all related work.

What is septic tank pumping?

A septic tank only collects wastewater, does not clean it in any way, and when it is full, the chamber will need to be emptied. The pumped out liquid cannot be discharged into a reservoir, so as not to pollute the soil and water with untreated wastewater. For disposal, special areas for the burial of such waste are used - for example, evaporation ponds.
