The Twitch streamer beats Elden Ring Without Damage Of Any Sort
On April 1st Twitch streamer Seki performed a feat of sheer brilliance from the FromSoftware's Elden Ring Runes. After many attempts and practice Seki, the expert streamer completed what appears to be the world's first ever recorded run that is no-hit and damage-free of Elden Ring.
Seki's no-hit/no damage run took less than 3 hours to complete . It it was streamed live Seki posted photos of his triumph shortly thereafter on Twitter with a giddy announcement of the victory. On Twitter, Seki declared that the remarkable run was a "world's first." Some have questioned this assertion and pointed at an earlier run of streamer GinoMachino from March 13. While GinoMachino was able to complete Elden Ring without taking any hits, that run is quite different from the one Seki did.
"No-Hit/No Damage" is more difficult than a regular no-hit runner as the player cannot take any kind of environmental damage like poison or fall damage, etc," Seki explained to MMOexp. "This increases the difficulty of the run since I don't have access to buffs like Red-Feathered Bladesword that can increase my damage output if I had low health."
This means Seki is required to stay clear of any type of damage, big or small, during the entire game. Think of how many times you've played Elden Ring and accidentally fell and suffered some fall-related injuries or gotten poisoned in the swamp. If anything like that occurs to Seki during his run, he'll need to start from scratch. This condition turns an already difficult and difficult game an even more difficult beast to conquer.
The success of the run is thrilling. The sight of someone completing the Elden Ring in under 3 hours without their health bar ever crashing is a compelling content even if (like me) are not interested in FromSoftware game or Elden Ring. (There is a moment in the game when Seki puts on a particular talisman that increases the damage and health of his character. In that moment, his health bar expands and it appears as if the character has been injured, but this is just what the item does.)
Based on the streamster who has completed similar no-hit runs in other FromSoftware games, including Sekiro the game, he logged more than 130 hours trying to complete this no-hit/no damage run. It involved planning, practice as well as countless attempts. In terms of the gear Seki likes to use to take on Elden Ring without taking any injury, it's an ordinary kit that includes a fan-favorite Moonveil Katana.
"I use a dexterity/intelligence build. My primary weapons are the Moonveil katana," explained Seki. He also employs a spell called Rock Sling to clear out mobs in certain areas within the game. Sometimes, when playing like this, it becomes apparent that a particular and unexpected area of the game is the most difficult one to deal with, perhaps an insignificant section of toxic enemies or something like that. But Seki explained to me that poetically, the hardest part of the whole run was at the very end.
"The most difficult part of the entire run by far is the final boss: Elden Beast," Seki said. Seki."It comes with a particular move which is widely known as unfair: Elden Stars. One of the only ways to prevent it from happening is to knock him over while he's casting the spell. This required a lot of time of practice and training to be able to time correctly."So Seki sometimes wouldn't fail when he was at the end of the game. He'd essentially playing a perfect game up to that moment. If the boss slammed him or did any damage to him at all the player would have to start over the entire thing.
After pulling off such a feat, some might be content to have a rest. Perhaps play the game as normal and enjoy a moment of relaxation. But that's not what Seki has in mind. Seki tells me that the next step is to start planning an "All Remembrances, No-Hit" run that he describes as an "true challenge of the mind." Seki is also excited about the ever-growing speedrunning and hitless running community in best site to buy elden ring items."I would love to see the hitless community unite and come up with innovative strategies in order to win the game."Meanwhile there are a lot of other people are still trying to defeat the main boss Elden Ring.
